The Washington State descendants of Israel Hilton Buker (Sergeant in the Rev. War, serving under Gen. Washington at Valley Forge and other battles) are holding their 59th annual reunion at Seaquest State Park near Castle Rock, WA. It will be on Sunday, August 19th in the covered shelter. It is Potluck and everyone gathers around noon to eat.All descendants of Israel H. Buker are welcome to attend. This branch descends from his son Alpha thru Alpha's son Israel (Cole & Douglas Co., Illinois) and includes the descendants of two sons, Charles Franklin Buker and Victoria Marie Leavell, Robert Boal Buker and Nancy Matilda Leavell and one daughter, Elizabeth Buker and David Hardman Leavell (m1) w/ Caleb Antrim (m2). The Leavell's arrived in Washington about 1882 and the Buker's followed around 1884 after a short stay in Colorado.
