Charleston, Ill. - Charles E. Wilson, 53, of Hutton Township, died at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at his home. Death resulted from an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Mr. Wilson was born May 2, 1915 in Hutton Township, the son of Arthur and Clara Esch Wilson.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Wilma Goodwin, Rockville, Ind.; Mrs. Barbara Harrington, Oakland; Mrs. Janice Kite and Brenda Wilson, both of Charleston; and two sons Hebert Charleston and William C., Rockville, Ind.

Other surviving are a sister, Mrs. Florence Goble, Charleston; three brothers, William and Robert, both of Charleston, Albert, Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; and four grandchildren.
